Everything people ask
before they book

Straight answers about sizes, pricing, delivery and what can go in the bin. Can't find yours? Call us — a real person picks up.

In Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo we offer same-day delivery on most orders placed before noon. Surrounding areas like Guelph, Ayr and the townships are typically next-day. During peak season we recommend booking a day ahead to lock in your preferred window.

Everything: delivery, pick-up, a 1–7 day rental and the disposal weight included with your size — 1,000 lb on a 7 yard, 1,500 lb on a 10, 2,000 lb on a 14, 3,000 lb on a 20 and 4,000 lb on a 30. Your garbage is disposed at the Region of Waterloo landfill. HST applies. Go over your included weight and it's $135 per tonne on top, with a copy of the weigh ticket so you can see it.

Payment is made by e-transfer once the bin has been delivered and placed in your driveway. We also accept cash and credit cards — a 3.49% processing fee applies to card payments. For your invoice we just need your full name, company name (if applicable), email address and address.

Heavy material goes in the 7 yard at $300 or the 10 yard at $400 — flat rate, weight included, nothing extra to pay on the scale. Those two sizes only: the 14, 20 and 30 yard bins cannot take a load of pure concrete, dirt or asphalt. You can put up to about 10% of it in a bigger bin mixed in with general garbage, but that bin goes to the city for disposal so the weight is charged normally.

Not across Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Ayr, Elmira, New Hamburg, Baden or Puslinch — delivery and pick-up are in the price. Outside that we charge $90 an hour of driving with the first hour included, which works out at $270 for somewhere like Stratford, Woodstock or Brantford. Call us and we will give you the number before you book. We can also do a live load, where we bring the bin, wait while you fill it and take it straight away.

After pick-up, your bin is transported to the Region of Waterloo Waste Management facility for disposal and weighing. Only if the total weight exceeds the weight included with your rental will you receive a copy of the official weight ticket, along with the corresponding additional charge of $135 per tonne. Under the limit? You pay exactly what was quoted.

Most household, renovation and construction waste: furniture, drywall, wood, flooring, shingles, junk and general debris. We can't take hazardous materials like paint, propane tanks, tires, batteries or asbestos — but call us and we'll point you to the right disposal option.

No. Every CuBins delivery includes wooden boards placed under the rails so the bin never sits directly on your asphalt or concrete. It's standard on every drop, not an add-on.

Every rental includes 1 to 7 days, and most projects fit comfortably inside that. Need longer? Just tell us — extra days are $15/day or $90 for a full extra week. Finish early and we'll happily pick it up sooner.

As a rule of thumb: 7-yard for a small junk run, 10-yard for a garage cleanout, 14-yard for a kitchen or bathroom reno, 20-yard for roofing or a full renovation, and 30-yard for construction and demolition. Not sure? Call us — we'd rather put you in the right bin than the biggest one.

Nope. Just mark where you'd like the bin (a text with a photo works great) and leave the rest to us. Our drivers will place it exactly where you asked and send you a confirmation.
